Aptera

Aptera is a new conception car designed by Expedited Composites. The fellowship claims that they achieved a proceed coefficient of fewer than 0.06 using a contrary aerodynamic body work, many may say original.
Beingness rattling lightweight, Aptera should score a supply t.b. of exclusive 0.7 liters per 100 Km (336 mpg US).
Aptera, the threesome travel car, looks fitting like an warplane, the car has a full trickster with two discrete proximity wheels and a tapered lift area with one, full confined place transport. Aptera present be equipt with a modify hybrid-electric actuation system.

Three Wheel Car - Aptera

Aptera is a new concept car designed by Accelerated Composites. The company claims that they achieved a drag coefficient of less than 0.06 using a different aerodynamic body shape, some may say unconventional. Being very lightweight, Aptera should have a fuel consumption of only 0.7 liters per 100 Km (336 mpg US).

Aptera, the three wheel car, looks just like an airplane, the car has a wide front with two separate front wheels and a tapered rear section with one, fully enclosed rear wheel. Aptera will be equipped with a parallel hybrid-electric propulsion system.

Rinspeed sQuba Concept

The biggest pre-show buzz among boutique builders was for Rinspeed’s amphibious, deep-diving, Lotus Elise-based “sQuba”. Going into the show, we had heard it was actually capable of driving into the water, floating about like a slow motorboat, and then diving beneath the surface like an open-topped submarine.

After seeing a short video loop of the sQuba in action, we were sort of glad it was sitting still. That’s the best way to describe the way the little white Lotus pondered, wheels motionless, several feet below the water’s surface (it can dive to a maximum of 33 feet). Inside, a pair of occupants—seen seconds before in clothes and sunglasses “driving” on top of the water at about a knot .

Even more wrong but equally pointless is the ability of the sQuba to drive on dry land by itself, as in, by remote control, guided by laser sensors keeping it from running over curbs, trees or, say, surfers changing in the beach parking lot as it silently makes its own way back to the sea, perhaps to find others of its kind.

2009 Bugatti Veyron Fbg par Hermès

To the array of mind-boggling figures associated with the Bugatti Veyron—$1.5 million price, 253-mph top speed, 2.6-second 0-to-60 time—add a brain-busting abbreviation: Fbg. Never heard of Hermès? In addition to fine fashion accessories and home goods, Hermès is a maker of fine leather goods for people whose daddies don’t have to work for a living. Hermès is the perfect partner to create a bespoke interior for Bugatti’s low-orbit dreamship, shown at the 2008 Geneva auto show.

Not much is changed externally aside from the wheels and the coloring. What looks trendy tooling around town might translate into a deadly aerodynamic defect at 253 mph, and Bugatti owner Volkswagen’s Veyron development dollars have all been spent.

The Bugatti Veyron Fbg par Hermès goes on sale late in 2008, and the company says it will make one a month for the rest of the Veyron’s production run. This special edition surpasses even the naked Veyron Pur Sang’s roughly $2 million price and settles at €1.55 million, or approximately $2.4 million.
