Ford Fiesta 2010



The new Fiesta will be sold all over the world, first appearing in Europe, then in Asia, South Africa, and Australia. Americans will be the last to get the Fiesta in 2010. Engine options on the Continent will include three engines ranging in output from 59 to 113 hp.

Honda S2000

The 2008 Honda S2000 has one purpose, to deliver a high-performance driving experience at a relatively low price. Thanks to its racecar-inspired suspension, perfect weight balance and high-output four-cylinder engine, the S2000 holds its own with costlier German and American rivals on twisty roads.

The 2008 Honda S2000 is a compact two-seat roadster that’s offered in two trims: standard and CR. Standard models include a power-operated soft top, a glass rear window with a defroster, 17-inch alloy wheels, xenon HID headlights, leather seats, full power accessories, air-conditioning and a CD player.

Powering Honda’s roadster is a 2.2-liter four-cylinder that churns out 237 hp at a lofty 7,800 rpm and 162 pound-feet of torque at 6,800 rpm. Mitsubishi i MIEV Plug-In Electric

Mitsubishi i MIEV is scheduled to be introduced for 2010. This particular car is one of a 30-vehicle test fleet that’s running around Tokyo right now.

Battery Life
With the Mitsubishi MIEV’s motor, inverter and charger located under the floor of the luggage area behind us, the 22 lithium-ion cells are artfully spread under the belly pan. Given that the car weighs 2,380 pounds — 397 pounds more than its gasoline-powered counterpart .

Lightning Fast
Powering the electric-powered i is a rear-mounted, permanent-magnet synchronous motor developing 63 horsepower and 133 pound-feet of torque. The Mitsubishi i MIEV feels brilliantly quick. It jumps from rest to 60 mph in under 9.0 seconds on its way to a top speed of 82 mph. Mitsubishi claims that in ideal conditions, the i MIEV gets 100 miles on a full charge.
